Sex After 60 is a special digital issue about the under-explored, under-discussed, under-celebrated sex experiences of experienced women. ilovecreatives Studio teamed up with the Cosmopolitan team to dream up and execute a new editorial experience that seamlessly blends the best parts of digital and print. Leading the issue with the iconic Lisa Rinna to getting deep into a data-first look at 60+ sex, this issue bares it all.

We blended playful romantic symbols with physical nostalgic ephemera like playing cards, post-it notes, and matchbooks. We partnered with the talented Cosmopolitan team from concept to creative to development to bring this well-deserved topic to light.

On the homepage, we immersed readers into a delightful world that plays into people’s curiosity and pulls them into each article. We created a table of contents visualized through playing cards to scroll and pick through featuring custom-collaged hero images for each article.

Pull Quotes

In The Thing About Sex After 60 Is… article, Cosmopolitan called upon celebrities, activists, influencers and experts to share their experiences. We imagined interactive ways to incorporate pull quotes, such as playing cards, playable audio clips hidden in a matchbook, and draggable post-it notes.

Why should Desktop have all the fun? We ensured that the Mobile version was just as immersive and easy to flip through and navigate as Desktop.
